Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to employ a Pest Control Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given to the right candidate.
Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an understanding of first-rate customer service and be able to demonstrate previous experience in working, unsupervised, in a field-based role. GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) are required and a further qualification in a science is desirable. Primary duties will include visiting Client sites, completing routine servicing duties, advising customers on aspects of pest control and some labouring tasks.
We are based in Lincoln with nationwide coverage so we ask applicants to hold a full, clean driving licence and be flexible. Primary hours of work are Monday to Friday, which will include some early mornings and regular overnight stays. Candidates will also be expected to undertake weekend cover on a rota basis.
As well as full (class and field based) training you will be provided with a Company vehicle, mobile phone, all uniform and PPE. Starting salary is between £13,000 and £15,000 (dependent on experience) which will rise following successful completion of your training. There will also be the opportunity to earn commission as the role provides for some sales opportunities.
