A Lincoln trio have raised over £1,300 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance after taking on a 4,000 mile round trip across Europe.

The Wandering Arms team, consisting of Alex Lee, Craig Marshall and Phillip Johnson, attended two events earlier this summer as part of the Wacky Rally, where they personalised a £300 car before driving it around the continent.

The first rally saw the team leave Lincoln for the starting line in Lille, France on June 23 where they headed to Rimini, Italy and then back home.

The trio also dressed as a paramedic, patient and nurse for the Lincoln 10k.

Once home, the group moved onto the second rally, which saw the trio leave for a return trip to Barcelona just a day after they returned from Italy.

After completing these two rallies, the trio then undertook the Lincoln 10k dressed as a paramedic, patient, and nurse.

In total, the group raised £1,320.37 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
