A man was robbed on Tuesday, May 25th, while walking along St Rumbold Street, past the Broadgate Car Park towards Croft Street, between 4pm and 5pm. The robber reportedly said to the victim: “Empty your pockets or I’ll smash your head in!”
An unknown man approached the victim, which emptied his pockets and took out two boxes of medication that he had just collected from a pharmacy. The offender snatched the medication out of his hand, and threw one box of medication back at the victim, keeping the second box.
The robber then walked off across the gravel car park in front of Broadgate Multi Storey Car Park. The victim did not suffer any injuries. The male suspect is described as approx 5 feet 9 inches in height, medium build with blue eyes. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black trousers, black trainers, and a black scarf around his face.
