Teenager assaulted by four youths

Reason unknown: Four youths assaulted a 17-year old teenager, leaving him with an eye injury, a broken nose, and a broken arm.

A 17-year-old Lincoln teenager was assaulted by four youths at about 4pm on June 18th. The assault occurred on Skellingthorpe Road (pictured), opposite the City of Lincoln Priory Academy (the former City School).

The assaulted teenager received an eye injury, a broken nose, swelling to his face and a broken right arm, from the four youths who came from the passageway which leads to Hartsholme. The victim was treated at Lincoln County Hospital.

The four offenders are believed to be around 17-18 years of age. They approached the victim who was riding a lime green and white BMX cycle. The reasons behind the assault are unknown.

There are limited descriptions of the offenders. Three are around 5ft10 and were wearing tracksuits, and one was 6ft and wearing a grey hoodie.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information about it to contact PC Amy Skelton at 0300 111 0300.
