Two women arrested over TV burglary

Burglaries: Two females aged 23 and 13 were arrested in connection with a burglary, while police are looking for two burglars.

Two females, one aged 23, and one aged 13, were arrested in connection with a sneak-in burglary on Cotman Road in Lincoln (pictured), which occurred at 4pm on July 26. A 42-inch LCD TV was stolen from the property, and the two females were arrested nearby the spot where the TV was recovered from.

Sylvia Jean Edmonds (23) of Westwick Gardens in Lincoln was charged on July 27 with this burglary, as well as another burglary offence that will be taken into consideration. Edmonds appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court on July 28. The 13-year-old girl was bailed until August 2.

In related news, police are asking for more information regarding two men who attempted to enter a property on Brayford Quay on July 27. They left marks on a window as they ran away when disturbed. One man was in a white jacket with shaven hair, while the other had a dark jacket and dark trousers, with dark hair. Both men are aged between 19 and 25.

Also on July 27, Michael james Weaver (27) of West End in Holbeach, was charged with a burglary at the White Hart Hotel in Bailgate from July 19. A laptop worth around £400 was stolen from the hotel. Weaver was released on bail, and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court on August 13.
