Teenager charged with burglary and theft

Youth Court: A 17-year-old teenager was arrested and charged with burglary and theft on two occasions in Lincoln.

A 17-year-old teenager, of no fixed address, has been charged by Lincolnshire Police with burglary and theft in relation to two incidents between September 9 and 13.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has allegedly burgled a house in Sheraton Close, Lincoln, where a safe containing medication was stolen.

A further offence of the theft of a moped worth £400 from Finingley Close, Lincoln, on September 10 will be taken into consideration.

The boy has been released on conditional bail and will appear at Lincoln Youth Court on September 30.
