Lincoln welcomes a new Jazz Pack

Jazz quintet: A jazzy collaboration will be impressing audiences at Lincoln Drill Hall this November.

Lincoln Drill Hall will be hosting a new quality jazz quintet next month.

The group is led by acclaimed composer-pianist Kate Williams (pictured), whose style is influenced by the likes of Bud Powell to Keith Jarrett.

She has teamed up with Bobby Wellins, a Scottish jazz saxophonist, who has played alongside Stan Tracey, Don Weller and Jim Mullen.

Adding more harmony on the flute is Gareth Lockrane, who also leads his own septet and big band, as well as various collaborations.

The trio are accompanied by Oli Hahyhurst on bass and Tristan Mailliot on drums.

Due on November 6, this jazzy evening is bound to be a classy one. Tickets start at £6 and are available from the Lincoln Drill Hall Box Office.
