New children’s epilepsy doctor for Lincoln

New expert: A new doctor has arrived at Lincoln County Hospital to help children with epilepsy in the city.

Anyone with an epileptic child can now seek expert treatment and advice at Lincoln County Hospital.

Consultant Paediatrician Dr Sourabh Mukhopadhyay started working for the hospital this summer, and childhood epilepsy is his speciality.

Dr Mukhopadhyay said: “I am pleased that my appointment means better access to epilepsy care for children in Lincolnshire.

“I have joined a wonderful paediatric team here at Lincoln County Hospital and I look forward to further developing services in the future, along with my colleagues.”

Dr Mukhopadhyay has worked as a consultant at West Wales Hospital, and also received a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from Cardiff Deanery.
