Power has now been restored overnight for the remainder of the properties affected by the blackout.
Dave Sweeney, a resident in the area, said power was back on at 1am: “They have a massive generator on the back of a flat-bed trailer on Delfied Avenue, temporary powering Camwood & Delfield.”

Hundreds of properties in Lincoln are still without electricity, after a high voltage power failure affected thousands since the morning of November 25.
Almost 900 houses in the city are affected since 10.30am. This initially affected 5,291 properties, which was reduced to 693 by 12.30pm.
At the time of writing 884 properties were still affected, 859 in the Doddington Road area (A46) to Hartsholme Park, and 25 in Fiskerton.
The postcode areas affected are LN1 2, LN1 N, LN10 6, LN4 1, LN6 0, LN6 3, LN6 4, LN6 5, LN6 7, LN6 L, LN8 3, LN3 4, LN3 5, LN4 1, LN4 2, LN8 5.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause,” said an E-On spokesperson.
“In both cases we have engineers on site and are working to get everyone back on as quickly and as safely as possible.”
Traffic lights in the area have been reportedly affected also, and drivers are advised to proceed with caution if they encounter a set of signals which are not working.
You can send and SMS with “supply” then a space and then your postcode to 81222 and E-On will reply with details of any problems in the area – along with an estimated time for supplies to be restored.

E-On now says there are 859 homes without power in Lincoln, and 49 in Fiskerton.

Electricity for around 2,000 homes in Lincoln has now been restored.
There are still 1,066 properties without power in the city, according to E-On.

Over 3,000 Lincoln properties are currently without electricity.
Homes and businesses in the Doddington Park area are affected, with 3,162 properties currently experiencing power blackouts since 10.30am.
The postcodes affected are LN1 2, LN1 N, LN10 6, LN4 1, LN6 0, LN6 3, LN6 4, LN6 5, LN6 7, LN6 L, LN8 3.
Power supplier E-On reports this is a high voltage fault, but had no details over the issue, or when power would be restored.
Over 40 properties in Fiskerton are also affected by the outage, which began at 6.28am in the area.
