Two people were taken to the Lincoln County Hospital in the early hours of Thursday, after being rescued from a blaze at a warehouse.
Just before 1am on Thursday, Lincolnshire Fire & rescue were called to a fire at the first floor of a furniture warehouse on Wragby Road, Lincoln.
The fire at the 15meters by 15meters warehouse took several hours to put out, with appliances from Lincoln North and South attending the scene.
Firefighters rescued two people from the warehouse blaze and had to search the whole building before they could attempt to put out the fire.
*Update @ 10.05am —Lincolnshire Police say they are treating this warehouse fire as arson and investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
Police also revealed that the two persons rescued from the fire were girls, both aged 15, and are now treated for smoke inhalation.
Their conditions are not life threatening and they should be discharged later today.
The warehouse damaged by fire is a derelict building which used to be BDS Furniture Clearence, in Wragby Road, Lincoln.
