Alan Carr to test jokes on Lincoln crowds

Chatty Man: Comedian Alan Carr will be warming up for his national tour next month.

Channel 4’s Chatty Man host and comedian Alan Carr will be making a debut to Lincoln next month to try out some new material.

He will be performing at the LPAC on March 21, using the audience to test out some jokes for his upcoming UK and Ireland tour.

The tour will be the comedian’s first in over 4 years, who usually prefers radio and TV appearances.

He has presented radio programmes such as The Russell Brand Show, Alan Carr’s Comedy Outings, Alan Carr’s Christmas Box and Going Out With Alan Carr.

On TV, you can currently find Carr on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and Chatty Man and formerly in the Friday Night Project, Live at the Apollo and 8 out of 10 Cats to name a few.

Tickets to the warm up show cost £20 and can be bought from the LPAC Box Office

Organisers noted that Carr may have to refer to his notes during the show.

LPAC’s Artistic Director Craig Morrow said: “I’m particularly excited about Alan’s visit because it offers the people of Lincoln a chance to be amongst the first to enjoy new material and confirms that the LPAC is one of the best places to see great comedy in the region.”
