Man found dead at Carholme Road flats

Not suspicious: A man was found dead at the Carholme Road student flats, apparently of natural causes.

The body of a 37-year-old man has been found on March 15 at the Brayford Court student flats on Carholme Road.

A member of the public alerted police, which attended the scene at about 5pm on Tuesday until late in the evening.

Lincolnshire Police spokesperson James Newall said the force is not treating the man’s death as suspicious.

Investigators are still looking into the case, but initial reports say the man’s death was of natural causes.

Because police are not treating the death as suspicious, the name of the deceased is unlikely to be released to the public.

Later update: The deceased was not a University of Lincoln student, a university spokesperson confirmed to The Lincolnite.
