Broken jaw for man assaulted in Ripon St

Assault: Three men have been arrested after a 23-year-old local man has been assaulted in Ripon Street on Monday night.

— Update on April 13 @ 10.11am: All of the offenders arrested in relation to this offence have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until April 25.


Three men have been arrested after a 23-year-old local man was assaulted in Ripon Street at around 7.50pm on Monday, April 11.

Lincolnshire Police attended a call on Ripon Street last night and arrested three local men on suspicion of assault and affray.

Two of the men are 30 and one is 39.

The victim was taken to Lincoln County hospital, where he is being treated for a broken jaw.

The suspects are being questioned at Lincoln Police Station.

The road was closed to traffic for a short time on the night while enquiries were carried out.

There may still be some police activity in the area this morning as investigations are ongoing.
