Comedy Festival returns to Lincoln

Barrel of laughs: Lincoln Comedy Festival will be making its return to Lincoln, with a list of acts already confirmed.

The annual Lincoln Comedy Festival is heading back to the city, with a host of comedians ready to bring some laughs.

Already confirmed with tickets on sale to play in Lincoln on October 5 to 11 are Jack Whitehall, Shappi Khorsandi, Jon Richardson and Tom Stade.

More acts confirmed but will not on sale yet are The Boy With Tape On His Face and Charlie Baker, winner of Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.

The fourth festival be also adding a bigger lineup than before across three venues: Lincoln Drill Hall, LPAC and Engine Shed.

More acts are yet to be confirmed, but the festival boasts three more big acts as a possibility and another 11 shows.

Festival Director Shaun Almey said: “We’re really pleased to be able to announce another strong line up for our 4th Festival and to bring some great shows to Lincoln.

“The event has gone from strength to strength since we started in 2008 and each year we are able to put on more shows as the Festival develops.

“There is a bit of a comedy boom going on at the minute and we’re doing everything we can to bring the best of that to Lincoln and to try and give everyone something to laugh about for 7 days in October.”

Tickets for acts confirmed acts go on sale Friday, April 15. Tickets can be bought from participating venues.
