Rock acts signed up for beam! festival

Fun gigs: Lincoln BIG have set up a couple of gigs as part of beam! Festival 2011.

Some of the UK’s upcoming musical talent will be playing a series of gigs at the Drill Hall as part of the annual beam! festival in Lincoln.

That Sunday Feeling (TSF, pictured), Futures, and human beatbox THePETEBOX have all been scheduled to play in the city over Lincoln BIG’s new summer festival week.

TSF is a pop-rock band with members born and raised in Lincolnshire, and have just finished touring with McFly.

They will joined on July 6 by indie rock band Futures, recently signed by Mercury Records. Lincoln bands Dying Kings and Robert Howells will be supporting the gig.

On July 9, after a beatbox and Hip-Hop masterclass at 3pm at the Drill Hall, Petebox will be amazing crowds with his own beat boxing.

He’ll be supported by Amsterdam-based Hip Hop group 3rd Dimension and soul singer Dwayne Hayden.

Project manager David Lambert can’t wait to see Futures and THePETEBOX.

He said: “It’s a great chance to see some of the UK’s top talent on our doorstep. It’s going to be two great nights of partying.”

beam! International Festival aims to provide under 18s and families a mix of entertainment over the summer period.

Tickets for both gigs cost £12, and can be bought either by calling 01522 873894 or on the Drill Hall website.
