Expansion for Lincoln based printers

Success: A design company and printers has plans to expand after seeing higher profits over the last year.

Ruddocks, a Lincoln-based design and print company, has announced a three-year expansion plan following a year on year increase in Ruddocks’ turnover.

The family-run business, which has been operating for 126 years, offers marketing, design, print and distribution services to other businesses through-out the UK.

Ruddocks will hire 3 new members of staff and also has plans for the future, which include investing in a new printing press and overhauling the digital suite.

Paul Banton, Ruddocks’ managing director, said: “We are now reaping the rewards of a targeted marketing campaign and a sterling effort from all the staff.

“We were aware that many businesses in Lincolnshire thought that Ruddocks was ‘just a printer’ or that we were a retail shop on the High Street!

“So it was up to us to show that we offer far more than ‘just a printing service’.

“With three months to go before the year end, we are going to totally outstrip last year’s turnover by around 15% – maybe more with several new contracts about to start.”
