A development of 47 new two, three and four bedroom houses will be built at the Burton Waters marina later this year.
Situated on the outskirts of Lincoln, four miles from the city centre, the marina village will see £15 million of investment from developers Beal Homes.
The homes will feature Burton Waters’ part brickwork, part timber-look facades and steep pitched roofs, which are reminiscent of Dutch canal side buildings.
A new waterside promenade of nine shops, restaurants and cafes, will also set in the four acres of land at Burton Waters.
The development will be called The Quays and its private residential areas will be gated with 24 hour manned security.
Prices for the properties will start at £200,000 ranging to over £400,000.
Richard Beal, managing director of family-owned Beal Homes, said: “We have designed an exceptionally high quality interior specification for these properties.”
