Driver narrowly misses six-year-old child

Near miss: Police are appealing for information after a car narrowly missed hitting a six-year-old child.

Lincolnshire Police are looking to identify the female driver of a car that narrowly missed hitting a six-year-old child in Lincoln.

The incident took place on Tuesday, October 15 at around 4.45pm at the High Street/South Park pedestrian crossing next to Campion’s Peugeot in Lincoln.

A woman was crossing the road with two children and a baby in a pram when a female driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa jumped a red light and narrowly missed a six-year-old child.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this to get in touch and help them with their enquiries by calling 0300 111 0300.
