Arrest over Lincoln jewellery burglary

£25k burglary: A Lincoln man has been arrested in connection with the burglary of a local jewellery shop earlier this month.

A local man has been arrested in connection with a £25,000 burglary at a Lincoln jewellers.

The 36-year-old man was in police custody surrounding the burglary which took place in a jewellers shop unit inside Morrisons supermarket off Triton Road on January 9.

It is believed the offender got into the premises through the roof. The man has since been released on bail pending further enquiries until March 2.
