Clothing retailer Gap Outlet and children’s toy store The Entertainer will open shops in St Mark’s shopping centre in Lincoln.
The move is set to create some 25 new jobs in the city.
Gap will occupy some 8,600sq ft of the former M&Co unit, while The Entertainer will have a further 5,000sq ft. Both signed 10-year leases.
Cormac Hamilton, Manager of St Marks Shopping Centre said: “We are very pleased that two such big high street names have chosen to come to St Marks and we’re expecting the two shops to open soon.
“We are especially delighted that both Gap Outlet and The Entertainer have decided to take 10-year leases, which is a real vote of confidence to Lincoln in general as well as St Marks.”
Cafe M on the corner of High Street has also been fully refitted and reopened this weekend after the premises were damaged by a fire in April.
Kevin Lane, Manager at Cafe M, said: “It’s going to be good for the area to have these two top brands coming in St Mark’s.”
