A Lincoln man who died following a three-vehicle collision on the A46 near Collingham has been named.
As previously reported, Richard Hunter (84), was travelling in a Volkswagen Passat, and at around 10am, it was in a collision with a Mazda and a Toyota close to the junction with Station Road.
He was airlifted to Nottingham Queen’s Medical Centre where he died from his injuries on Saturday, September 15.
Two other women, aged 84 and 54, who were travelling in the Volkswagen, were also taken to hospital were they remain.
The elderly woman is still in a serious condition while the 54-year-old’s condition is described as stable.
The woman driver of the Mazda is also still at Lincoln County Hospital. She suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries and also remains in hospital.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
