A new car servicing and repair business for specific models began trading in Lincoln this week, in premises on Allenby Road Industrial Estate.

Toyotek, formed by Grant Watkins and Matthew Benson, mainly services and repairs the Toyota and Lexus brands, and can also support a number of other makes too.

It is also one of the only servicing companies in Lincoln that takes bookings on its website.

Other than the fully equipped repair floor, the Witham Point unit on Wavell Drive has a customer waiting room, with free WiFi and entertainment facilities.

Grant Watkins is the General Manager of the business, and has over 15 years experience in vehicle maintenance, with the last 10 years specialising in Toyotas. He also used to work for Listers Toyota Lincoln.

He said: “Lincoln has many specialist servicing centres, but didn’t have one that specialised in Toyotas, outside of the dealer network.

“Because of my lower overheads, I believe I can offer an excellent value for money service to my customers that is a direct equivalent to the Toyota recommended servicing intervals.”

Co-owner Matthew Benson added: “The current economic climate isn’t great right now but what doesn’t change is that the people of Lincoln and the surrounding areas are looking for value in everything they buy.”
