In an unprecedented week for Lincolnshire Police, after Chief Constable Neil Rhodes has been suspended by Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Hardwick, Acting Chief Constable Alec Wood talks about his new role and the force’s priorities for the next few weeks and months.
He explained the force has not been aware of the circumstances of the Chief Constable’s suspension, which PCC Alan Hardwick said it was due to “potential conduct matters”. The matter has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
