The Lincolnshire Show 2013: Day 1

County show: The first day of the annual Lincolnshire Show draws to a close, and here are all the photo highlights from the day.

The county’s biggest event, the annual Lincolnshire Show, wrapped up its first day of the 129th event on Wednesday, June 19, with a great turnout.

With the hot weather, visitors flocked to the show see show jumping, machinery and livestock parades, sheepdog trials, scurry driving and more in the main Clydesdale Ring, while enjoying Jive Pony vaulting, ferrets, birds of prey and retriever challenges in the Countryside Ring.

Vistors could also enjoy the a variety of drinks, snacks and meals in the food court, go shopping in the ten retail aisles, admire prized livestock such as sheep, cows and pigs or take part in a variety of activities.

Meanwhile in the skies above the Showground, the Red Arrows treated onlookers to two practice displays and flyovers, plus a low flyover from the Dakota.
