Seventh Costa Coffee opens in Lincoln

More coffee? Another unit is filled in the Valentine Retail Park, this time by a High Street coffee chain.

Costa’s plans for expansion in Lincoln are still ongoing as it opens its latest store in Valentine Retail Park.

The seventh store, sat between Next and Carphone Warehouse, will offer customers a varity of coffees, cold drinks, snacks and lunch items while they shop in the nearby area.

The opening of the new store comes just three months after the opening of the sixth store in Carlton Centre and the new shop on the High Street.

There are presently no more plans to open another Costa in Lincoln after this unit.

Speaking to The Lincolnite previously, Retail Development Manager Leigh Calladine said: “I think every coffee shop brings something different. Without being biased, I think our coffee is the best coffee on the High Street, and I do think that the people we hire are the best people to serve that coffee.

“Ultimately, the customers will do the voting with their pound notes. People do have their loyalties, but hopefully they will try us.”
