Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair

Food & Gift Fair: Christmas shoppers can look forward to the annual event at the Lincolnshire Showground this weekend and enjoy live entertainment demonstrations and crafts.

The 2013 Food & Gift Fair at the Lincolnshire Showground takes place on Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 24 and offers Lincoln shoppers the chance to browse more than 150 stalls.

The Lincolnite went along to the Food & Gift preview evening on Friday, November 22. The night spotlighted the array of craft and gift stalls and guests were entertained by RAF singer Sarah Jane.

On Saturday, the fair will run from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday the fair will run from 10am to 4pm. Tickets can only now be purchased at the entrance (£5).

In addition to exhibitions from local businesses, visitors can also enjoy cookery demonstrations with Dominic Franks and Amy Claridge, see Uncle Henry’s head butcher making sausages and explore artisan bread making with Welbourne’s Bakery.

The fair showcases a range of crafts and skills. Discover pyrography with Pyrographiques and learn how to make an Advent wreath with Flowers by Suzanne.

Visitors to the event can learn crochet with crafts by Angela Tubb, make Christmas decorations with Tempo Designs, discover pyrography with Pyrographiques and learn how to make an Advent wreath with Flowers by Suzanne.

Live music is scheduled from All For One Choir on Saturday and Vibe Youth Choir on Sunday. There will also be hot food and drink throughout the day.
