Fairytale proposal during Lincoln pantomime

A proposal with an audience: Panto-goers at Lincoln Drill Hall were treated to a romantic surprise when one audience member took to the stage to propose to his girlfriend.

Panto-goers have been enjoying fairytale matchmaking since the launch of Cinderella at Lincoln Drill Hall. One performance, however, caused quite a stir when a real marriage proposal took place on stage.

After requesting the help of the team at Jamie Marcus Productions, Liam Thorius arranged to propose to his girlfriend Leanna Westmore, adorned with princely costume, during the wedding scene.

Between them, the manager of Lincoln Drill Hall, Chris Kirkwood, and the producer of the pantomime, Jamie Marcus, helped to make his dreams come true.

Liam took to the stage mid-performance on Friday, December 13, and was met with a round of applause when Leanna said “yes”.
