The City of Lincoln Council and contractors Cory Environmental have arranged for all bin collections to run on their scheduled days, apart from those due on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Collections due on Wednesday, December 25 will instead be picked up on Saturday, December 21, and those due on Boxing Day have been rearranged to take place on Saturday, December 28.
Collections will run as usual on all other days, including New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Shane Harrison, Cleansing Services Officer, said: “We would ask people to have their bins out by 7am on collection days to ensure they get picked up.
“For recycling collections we ask people to put any extra recycling waste in clear bags by the side of their bin. Black rubbish bags will not be taken as part of recycling.”
After the festive period there will also be the opportunity to leave your Christmas tree out for collection too.
Real tree kerbside collections will run during the weeks commencing January 6 and January 13.
People can either chop their tree up and put it in their green bin, or leave it at the kerbside next to their black bin on their regular black bin collection day.
Trees must be left out by 7am on the collection day but may be picked up separately to the bin collection.
North Kesteven collections
Refuse collection days will change for everyone in North Kesteven District Council this Christmas and New Year.
Always have your bins out for collection by 7.30am on collection day as collection times vary. Normal collections will resume from Monday 6 January 2014.
As in previous years the District Council will collect side waste left at the side of the green lidded wheeled bin and the black-wheeled bin on the first collection after Christmas.
Residents should be reminded that there will be no garden waste collections during the weeks commencing 23 December, 30 December, 20 January and 27 January.
