Pedestrian injured after collision in Lincoln

Woman injured: There were delays on Carholme Road last night due to a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

A woman was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Lincoln.

The incident happened at around 5.23pm on December 3 on Carholme Road, between the Horse and Groom pub and Newland Street junction. A red Toyota collided with a female pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to Lincoln County Hospital to be treated for a head injury and bruising, and is shaken but not severely hurt.

After the collision, the road was blocked for around an hour while investigations took place.
