E-fit image of Lincoln sexual assault suspect released

Sexual assault e-fit: Lincolnshire Police released an e-fit image of the suspect in a serious sexual assault in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police released an e-fit image of the suspect in a serious sexual assault in Lincoln they are investigating.

As previously reported,the incident happened on February 2 in St Andrew’s Drive, when a woman in her 20s answered her door, a man entered her property and then subjected her to a serious sexual assault.

The offender is described as a white male aged around 30. He was 5’7” to 5’8” tall, stocky build with short dark hair. He wore a dark jumper with jeans. He was not wearing a jacket.

The investigation is ongoing and police are continuing forensic examinations and have conducted extensive house to house enquiries.

They have spoken to local people and said they are very grateful for their continued assistance and support.

As a means to reassure the community, police have increased their presence in the area with extra patrols.

They continue to appeal to anyone who saw anything to get in touch – even if it seems like a ‘minor detail’.

D/Sgt Tim Wilkinson, leading the investigation, said: “We understand that people will be shocked by this incident.

“However, a sexual assault by a stranger in the victim’s own home is thankfully something we only deal with on very rare occasions.”
