Over 150 people gathered on February 28 to remember and celebrate the life of Lincoln man Ryan Morgan.

The Morgan family invited friends publicly to the funeral commemoration at St John’s Church in Washingborough and thanked everybody who had paid their respects.

Ryan Morgan (28) of Doughty’s Court in Lincoln, went missing on December 27, 2013 from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre on Greetwell Road.

At the funeral service, family members told light hearted stories of childhood memories and fondly remembered Ryan’s love for kickboxing and weightlifting.

All who spoke referred to Ryan’s love of life, fun and music. And to wrap up the proceedings guests listened and sang along to the Fugees’ Ready or Not and Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds.

Over 80 people walked together back to the family home in Washingborough before making their way to Wellingborough, where Ryan was laid to rest.
