Biker injured in A158 Rand Farm Park collision

Airlifted to hospital: A young biker has been injured in a collision with a car on the A158 close to the Rand Farm Park junction near Lincoln.

A young biker has been injured in a collision with a car on the A158 close to the Rand Farm Park junction near Lincoln.

The incident happened at around 2.20pm on Sunday, March 16, when a blue Yamaha 600cc motorcycle was involved in a collision with a red Renault Megane.

The rider of the motorcycle was a 22-year-old man from the Sleaford area.

He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by the air ambulance.

His injuries included a dislocated knee and chest injuries, but they are not believed to be life threatening.

The Magane driver, a 46-year-old woman from Hornchurch in Essex, was not injured.

The road was partially closed for police investigations and reopened at around 5.50pm. There were traffic delays in the area during this time.
