Cyclist trapped under van in Lincoln collision

A Lincoln road was closed off while emergency services freed a cyclist from underneath a van.

The incident happened before 2.48pm on March 7 at the Scorer Street and High Street junction.

A van collided with a cyclist, trapping him underneath the vehicle.

The Scorer Street junction was closed off and diversions along Dixon Street put in place while emergency services freed the cyclist.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with a back injury, but he is not in a serious condition.

The road reopened after the cyclist was freed from under the vehicle.
