Lovely Lincoln named in best places to live guide

Good place to live: Lincoln received warm feedback on the Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live guide.

Lincoln has received warm feedback in a Sunday Times feature describing the top UK cities to live in.

The Sunday Times Best Places to Live guide lists all 64 cities and a number of towns in the UK.

The list does not rank each city, but explains what makes an area so good.

It describes Lincoln as being great for its “historic core and leafy outskirts.”

The Sunday Times only stated that Bristol turned out to be the best city to live in.

Lincoln is profiled as having a number of good state grammar schools, within easy reach of London, and affordable housing — according to the newspaper, the average house costs £127,673.

The article also mentions the city’s top attractions such as Lincoln Cathedral, Steep Hill and even local stately homes such as Doddington Hall and outdoor areas like Whisby Nature Park.
