University of Lincoln ranks highly in student satisfaction survey

Happy students: The University of Lincoln has ranked well in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey for satisfaction.

The University of Lincoln has made it into the top third of all UK universities for its student satisfaction.

The university ranks 29th out of 111 universities in the annual Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.

Times Higher also described the university as having ‘performed highly’.

This year, students put satisfaction levels down to helpful and friendly staff, well-structured courses and high quality facilities.

The survey covers 21 aspects of university life, from teaching quality to library provisions.

Students rated the university particularly highly for “good environment on campus/around university”, “high quality facilities” and “good security”.

Students also gave the the teaching staff and the courses very high marks, which led to the establishment coming joint 4th for “helpful and interested staff” and “well-structured courses”.

Other areas praised were location and local facilities, activities on offer and the library.
