Cash and jewellery taken in Lincoln burglary

City burglary: Police are appealing for witnesses after cash and jewellery were taken in a burglary at a property on Albion Crescent.

Police are appealing for witnesses after cash and jewellery were taken in a burglary at a property on Albion Crescent in Lincoln on Tuesday, July 1.

It is thought that the burglary happened sometime between 10.30am and 4.00pm when the offender or offenders gained entry by forcing a rear patio door handle.

An untidy search of the property was carried out and it’s believed that cash and jewellery has been taken.

The jewellery taken included brooches, rings, neck chains, necklaces and earrings. In addition, the shed has also been broken into.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area during the time.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered to buy any jewellery in suspicious circumstances.
