Woman and two men arrested after Lincoln car fire

Three arrests: A woman and two men have been arrested after emergency services were called to a car fire on Boultham Park Road.

A woman and two men have been arrested after emergency services were called to a car fire on Boultham Park Road in Lincoln on Tuesday, August 12.

Fire crews and police were called at 3.09am and alerted to a Peugeot 106 which was on fire.

The blaze was extinguished by crews from Lincoln South fire station using two hosereel jets.

The interior of the car was completed gutted. Police say the registered keeper of the vehicle is from the Market Rasen area.

The two men and woman were arrested on suspicion of taking the vehicle without the owners consent.

They remain in custody and are helping police with enquiries.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing to anyone with information to call the 101 number, quoting incident number 38 of August 12.
