Man in hospital after being hit by a car on Lincoln High Street

A 45-year-old Lincoln man who was walking along Lincoln High Street has been hospitalised after he was hit by a car.

The man was walking near to the Argos store at around 10.52am on Thursday, September 4 before he was hit by an oncoming silver Nissan Almera.

Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to Lincoln County Hospital.

He is suspected to have suffered a broken nose and a fractured cheek bone as well as multiple cuts and bruises.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is being asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 122 of September 4.
