Garden furniture stolen: Police are appealing for information after a distinctive garden furniture set, including a pink bench, was stolen from a Lincoln garden.

Police are appealing for information after a distinctive garden furniture set, including a pink bench, was stolen from a Lincoln garden.

The furniture was stolen from a back garden on Hillside Avenue, Lincoln some time between August 31 and September 3.

An offender or offenders gained access to the garden through a rear gate which is accessed via a cycle path in the area.

A garden table, four chairs and a bench were stolen.

The bench that was taken, which has great sentimental value to the owner, was painted fuchsia pink and had a central divider on the seat that separated it into two seats.

If anyone has been offered the bench for sale or has any information about the incident or any of the items stolen they are asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 121 of September 3.
