North Hykeham woman in serious but stable condition after A1 crash

One dead: A North Hykeham woman is in a serious but stable condition after a crash which killed her passenger.

A North Hykeham woman who was injured in a crash on the A1 over the weekend remains in a serious but stable condition.

The crash between an Audi A1 and a DAF lorry took place at around 1pm of Saturday, March 21, at Marston.

As previously reported, the Audi passenger, a woman in her 70s from Bassingham, was killed in the collision.

The driver, a 59-year-old woman from North Hykeham was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Police say although her injuries are serious, she is now stable.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 206 of March 21.
