Music icon Sir Tom Jones will perform at Market Rasen Racecourse this summer.

The pop legend will play his greatest hits such as Delilah, It’s Not Unusual and She’s a Lady at ‘An Evening At The Races’ on August 15.

The event will also feature six races before the main attraction.

The star, who has been a coach on BBC One’s The Voice since 2012, said: “I’m really looking forward to appearing at ‘An Evening At The Races’ this summer. I always have a fantastic time performing to the audiences at the Racecourses so it’s my pleasure to be asked to return for another year.”

Amy Starkey, Regional Director east of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “This summer’s appearance at Market Rasen by Tom Jones will be the biggest concert that the racecourse has ever staged.

“It is a real coup for Market Rasen and Lincolnshire and, at the Jockey Club Live, we are delighted to be bringing such a global star to the county. Tom Jones is a complete performer and always sells out at his racecourse concerts.

“Tom loves horseracing and music coming together because, as he says himself, ‘win or lose you still have a great time.'”

Tickets for the event start at £28 for adults and £15 for under 18s, and go on sale on March 20 at 9am.
