Three week Lincoln village road closure set for repair works

Three week closure: A Lincoln village will undergo three weeks of repairs due to the condition of the carriageway.

Due to the poor condition of the road surface, Scothern Lane in Langworth will be closed for three weeks of repair works from Tuesday, April 21.

No through traffic will be able to use the road so that resurfacing work and carriageway widening can take place.

During the closure, access to properties affected by the works will be maintained via Langworth Road, Main Street (Scothern), Sudbrooke Road, Scothern Lane, A158 (Wragby Road), Scothern Lane (Langworth) (and vice versa).

The work is expected to take around three weeks to complete, and working hours will normally be between 07.30am and 5pm.

Lincolnshire County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the essential maintenance.
