Burglars target Alive Church office in Lincoln

Church office burglary: Offenders broke entry to a Lincoln church office in the city centre. Police are appealing for witnesses.

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a burglary at an office connected to the Alive Church on Newland in Lincoln.

The incident was reported in the early hours of Thursday, May 21 and is believed to have taken place at some time overnight at the office, which is close to and shared by the church at the junction of Wigford Way.

Offenders forced access into the premises; officers say details are still being gathered as to what was stolen.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or unusual activity in relation to the incident, or anyone who has any information about it, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 87 of May 21.
