Video: Vulcan XH558 final flypast over RAF Waddington

Vulcan to the sky: Hundreds of people gathered at RAF Waddington to witness the final flypast of the Avro Vulcan XH558.

The Vulcan XH558, the last flying airplane of its kind, performed a final flypast over RAF Waddington on Sunday, June 28.

Hundreds of people gathered along the A15 and at the WAVE enclosure at the air base to witness one of the final flights above Lincolnshire.

Due to engine servicing issues and the age of the aircraft, Vulcan to the Sky, the trust operating the aircraft, announced earlier this year that XH558 will no longer be a flying aircraft after her last displays this autumn.
