Lincoln Tritton Road cycle paths to undergo 12 weeks of repairs

Cycle path repairs: Selected footpaths and cycleways in the Tritton Road area of Lincoln will undergo essential maintenance works that will span approximately three months.

Selected footpaths and cycle paths in the Tritton Road area of Lincoln will undergo essential maintenance works that will span approximately three months.

Lincolnshire County Council has made an order to close the path on the west side of Tritton Road in the vicinity of Valentine Retail Park with works expected to commence on July 11.

Western Power Distribution will be completing the works across three locations along the road.

Although it is predicted that the repairs in this area will be finished within 12 weeks, the order will be in place for 18 months dependant on full completion.

The council says access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of the road, however there may be some delays.

In addition, notice was given for closure of the cycle path on the north side of Ruston Way from July 6.

Repairs are being carried out in the area close to the Mcdonalds restaurant on the Tritton Road roundabout and will continue for two days.
