Not suspicious: A post mortem has been completed on the body of a woman found in woodland near Gainsborough, with the death not being treated as suspicious.

A post mortem has been completed on the body of a woman found in woodland near Gainsborough, with the death not being treated as suspicious.

The body is believed to be of Lincolnshire mum Leah Palushi, who was reported missing from her home on October 22.

Formal identification has not yet been carried out.

A 40-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation has now been released without charge.

As previously reported, officers were called to woodland to the north-west of Lincoln at 9.54am on October 27 following reports that a woman’s body had been found.

The area, known as Dog Island Wood, remains secured to allow Lincolnshire Police to complete their investigation.
