Police name 91-year-old man who died in A46 crash near Lincoln

Driver, 91, named: The man killed in a serious crash on the A46 south west of Lincoln has been named by police.

The man killed in a serious crash on the A46 south west of Lincoln has been named by police as 91-year-old Harold Davies of Scarrington in Nottinghamshire.

As previously reported, the collision involving a Volvo and a Jaguar happened at around 4.30pm on Sunday, November 8 at the Collingham junction.

Harold, who was the driver of the Volvo, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed between Newark Showground and Sation Road, Collingham.

Nottinghamshire Police are asking anyone who saw the collision to call 101, quoting incident 661 of November 8.
