RAF Waddington pays tribute to the fallen on Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day tributes: Personnel from RAF Waddington have paid tribute to fallen comrades by participating in Remembrance Day ceremonies in Lincolnshire and across the UK.

Personnel from RAF Waddington have paid tribute to fallen comrades by participating in Remembrance Day ceremonies in Lincolnshire and across the UK.

Group Captain Rich Barrow, Station Commander at RAF Waddington laid a wreath at the altar during a service at Lincoln Cathedral, which saw veterans and military personnel from various squadrons take part in a parade through Bailgate from noon.

The station was also represented at a service in Waddington village as well as at services in Liverpool and Yorkshire.

RAF Waddington will pause to observe a moment of silence at 11am on Wednesday, November 11, to mark the time and date when hostilities formally ended after more than four years of battle during World War One.
