Grand opening: The 33rd Lincoln Christmas Market was officially opened with a traditional carol ceremony at the cathedral on December 3.

The 33rd Lincoln Christmas Market opened its doors to customers on December 3, with visitors set to enjoy a festive weekend of food, drink, gifts and entertainment.

Day One saw tens of thousands get into the festive mood, with over 200 stalls nestled in the medieval square, castle grounds and The Lawn.

The market was officially launched with a rousing traditional carol concert at Lincoln Cathedral from 5.30pm, hosted by the Mayor of Lincoln Andrew Kerry.

Around 250,000 people are expected at the market over the four days, which is the oldest in the country.

  • Saturday, December 5: 10am to 9.30pm
  • Sunday, December 6: 10am to 7pm
