A post mortem examination has taken place as part of investigations into the death of a 75-year-old woman at a Lincolnshire care home.

While enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of her death, the examination has revealed she died as a result of a fall.

The post mortem was carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary to establish the cause of death and investigations are ongoing.

“The ongoing safety and care of our clients is our utmost priority and we have taken all relevant steps to ensure this has continued throughout this difficult time.”
